Piloting at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital

Someone Like Me is proud to be taking an important next step through pilot testing at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital.

Built by breast cancer survivor Vanessa Mooney, the app was created from lived experience and one simple idea - that no one should have to face cancer feeling alone.

This pilot marks an exciting opportunity to explore how meaningful peer support, trusted resources and human connection can help support people affected by cancer. It is a chance to gather feedback, learn, evolve and continue shaping a platform designed around the real needs of patients and families.

Someone Like Me is more than an app. It is a growing community built on understanding, compassion and connection. As the journey continues, this pilot represents another step towards making cancer support more accessible, personal and less lonely.
